The RLK-18 was designed with comfort and safety in mind. The curve of the ergonomic steel shaft reduces strain on the hands and back while the rubber handle ensures a tight grip.

The redesigned blade retainer is thinner than standard long knives and is constructed from hardened steel for greater durability.
